Join us for an afternoon as we come together as a community to repair common household items and save them from landfill. Our volunteer repair experts will be on hand to repair your electrical items, clothes, furniture, bicycles and toys, and more.Please feel free to bring multiple items however keep in mind popular demand may require us to limit repair to 1 per person.
You can support this kaupapa by volunteering to be a repairer, helping run the event (no special skills required), or buying some baking and a cuppa on the day. If you care about the environment, or are looking for something you can do to combat climate change, come down and meet some like-minded individuals from your local neighbourhood and have a chat.
This Repair Cafe is a collaboration with the Gribblehirst Community Hub, SPiCE, and Tumeke Cycle Space and many more.
