Hailing from Killarney, Ireland, sibling duo Greywind—Steph and Paul O’Sullivan—have built a
reputation for crafting emotionally charged alternative rock that balances beauty and heartbreak.
Raised by a classically trained vocalist mother and a father who cleaned gravestones, their
artistic roots naturally emerged at the intersection of light and darkness.
Over the past decade, Greywind has cultivated a devoted global following through their
acclaimed debut album Afterthoughts, which landed on the Official UK Rock Chart in 2017 and
spawned multiple viral tracks that amassed millions of streams worldwide. Their powerful live
performances at major festivals including Reading & Leeds, Download, and Slam Dunk further
cemented their reputation, earning praise from tastemakers such as Zane Lowe, who described
their music as “a moment you won’t forget if you’re a fan of rock music.”
Their sophomore album, Severed Heart City was officially released in January of 2026, and
expands the band's vision into a fully immersive concept world—a fictional city that serves as a
metaphor for trauma, grief, and healing. Drawing influence from legacy acts like My Chemical
Romance, Blink-182, and Fall Out Boy, the album pushes Greywind’s sound to new heights
while preserving the emotional honesty that defines them. From the ferocity of “Acid Rain” to the
heartbreak of “Waterfall” and the hope of “Make Believe (L.O.V.E. ME),” Severed Heart City is a
powerful testament to resilience and the possibility of finding light in the darkest places.
Having recently shared stages with Waterparks, Tonight Alive, The Wonder Years, Madina Lake,
Tiny Moving Parts, and The Spill Canvas, Greywind now enters a new chapter with their
first-ever full-band U.S. headline tour.
