Grey Scale w/ Black Marble • Zirka Space • München

Black Marble (Chris Stewart) emerged from NYC’s cold wave revival scene with his 2012 debut A Different Arrangement, blending moody synths, icy melodies, and infectious hooks. Across four albums, including It’s Immaterial, Bigger Than Life, and Fast Idol (2022), Stewart has evolved his signature sound while staying true to the atmospheric, melancholic charm of early synthwave pioneers like Martin Dupont and Modern Art.
Writing and performing everything himself, Black Marble delivers a distinctive mix of dark synth-pop, post-punk, and late-night electronic atmospheres.
