Thursday January 8th is going to be another awesome evening of music at the Linsmore Tavern (1298 Danforth Ave)! We have 2 excellent vintage rock cover bands, Greg Clarke + the Madvarks and The Roncy Boys! Fans of rock music from the 60’s and 70’s, you are going to love these 2 bands! The show starts at 8pm, don’t miss it!Greg Clarke + the Madvarks :
High energy and soulful -cant beat that combination! ” We’re a 4 piece band performing rockin originals and eclectic covers from the 60s and 70’s ( think Chuck Berry, Bo Diddley, The Beatles,B Wilson,Cohen, Dylan, Stones, Moby Grape to name a few). A touch of blues pop psyche Rock with a punk edge to get your feet movin n head groovin. From St Lawrence Center to the iconic Cameron and local Not my dog, big and small we’ve played them all. Our live broadcasts (CIUT/Metro radio) as well as links to our latest vinyl release “Only the Best” produced by Green door’s John Critchley (of 13 Engines) and Peter Moore (Cowboy Junkies) can be found on madvarks.com.
The Roncy Boys: “The bad boy dandies of piano glam rock” Their bombastic sound combines 70s glam rock, classic pop and soul. Their stage performance is a one of a kind not to be missed experience. Their sound draws inspiration from Queen,David Bowie,Peter Gabriel,Roxy Music,the Beatles and more. They are a hard working band with Three Eps,a video , a rock opera and a another on the way. Their newest vinyl album release is now available in Toronto records stores.
