a little bit about the comedians....
One of the Pacific Northwest’s fastest-rising comedians, GREG BEACHLER has spent the last few years bringing his trademark wit and irreverence across the country. His storytelling as a divorced dad of two blends musings on family life and his mixed race background with topical approaches, grounding widely relevant subjects in a personal, relatable perspective. You might recognize him as a producer of the Bing Crosby Theater’s Reel: Comedy Edition, or as a regular feature at the Tacoma Comedy Club, Spokane Comedy Club, and other venues in the US.
Greg’s been a semi-finalist in the annual Super Funny Comedy Club Funniest Motherf&%^er competition, a finalist in the Comedy Voice, and has twice been selected for the legendary Seattle International Comedy Competition. Keep an eye out — he’s one to watch in the coming years.
JAY MARKOWITZ abandoned an extremely lucrative career as a professional pinball player and jumped feet first into stand up comedy with one goal in mind: to make you laugh.
Jay brings a punchline heavy east coast style to the stage and tackles subjects both sacred and profane.
Jay is an alternate at several clubs in the region and has been a runner up in many local comedy competitions. He looks forward to being second place in your heart.
LUKE SEVEREID is a Hill-Hiking, Metal-Music-Loving, Chrome-Dome-Having Stand-UP Comedian from Seattle, WA. Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest with the plaids and IPA-fueled husk to prove it.
LUKE’s comedic style has been described as insightfully idiotic, aggressively absurd, and most accurately, unmedicated ADHD in action. Besides looking identical to your favorite bouncer and or bass player, Luke was also recently in the Big Sky Comedy Festival, a semifinalist in both the Seattle and San Francisco International Comedy Competition, and a winner of Best Comedy Film at HUMP! Film Festival.
