We invite you to join us on August 8th as we mark the 5th anniversary of Greenwood Rising, Tulsa's Black Wall Street History Center, committed to educating people about Tulsa's Historic Greenwood District, the Black Wall Street mindset, and America's ongoing racial challenges. The theme for this year's celebration gala is Sharing our Past, Shaping our Future.
The gala will be hosted by celebrity emcees Becky Dixon and J.C. Watts, Jr. and promises to be a fun and exciting evening featuring dance, music, and an address by Mara Gay, celebrated journalist and New York Times editorial board member.
