Masonboro Sound is a four piece Bluegrass/Acoustic Rock band with tight 3 part harmony. We play a variety of songs from traditional Bluegrass such as Bill Monroe to Classic Rock with a Bluegrass twist such as Rolling Stones and Pink Floyd. Other influences include Hot Rize, Newgrass Revival, Grateful Dead and the Beatles. Band members include Jim Durham - Guitar, Matt Thuman - Mandolin, Shane Lippard - Bass and Perry Hewlett - Banjo and Dobro.
