We are pleased to invite you to headline a special PVIFF experience created around your unique perspective as a producer, writer, and director:

GREENLIGHT! — 10 Minutes With Mark Swinton

This highly interactive session will give a select group of emerging filmmakers, writers, and content creators the rare opportunity to pitch their projects directly to you and receive real-time feedback.

Three selected creators will each have approximately 10 minutes with you to discuss their project. We invite you to evaluate each concept through the three distinct lenses of your experience:

THE WRITER — Does the story work?
Examining concept, character, structure, conflict, and the strength of the overall story.

THE DIRECTOR — Can it translate to the screen?
Considering performance, tone, visual storytelling, casting, and how the material might be brought to life.

THE PRODUCER — Can it get made?
Discussing marketability, audience, production considerations, packaging, and the elements that could make the project more attractive within today's entertainment marketplace.

At the conclusion of each conversation, you will give the project one of three calls: GREENLIGHT, REWRITE, or PASS, along with insight into why you reached that conclusion and what the creator can do to strengthen the project.

The purpose is not simply to judge the pitches, but to allow our audience to witness the creative development process in real time and learn from your experience.
