We're kicking off our Summer Eats program in style! Join us at the Green River Swimming and Recreation Area on June 22nd from 4-6pm for a cookout meal, family-friendly activities, raffles, and resources from community organizations. ? We'll be providing a FREE cookout meal for kids 18 and under and adult family members or guardians who accompany kids to the event. There will be a vegetarian and gluten-free option available. Kids who take a reimbursable meal (all offered components... we will help with this!) will be able to grab a free ice cream from the Bart's Ice Cream Truck! Adults will be able to purchase ice cream for $4.00.
? In addition to providing a delicious cookout meal, we’re partnering with local organizations to bring you family-friendly resources and activities, including lawn games (inflatable bowling, cornhole, spikeball), face painting, button-making, a cooking demo, photo booth, pop-up food pantry, and more! We'll also be handing out free swag and raffling off some prizes, like a flat of local strawberries and movie passes to Greenfield Garden Cinemas!
? Parking and entry to the Swim Area will be FREE for this event. Just tell the gate attendant that you are there for the Kick Off. However we ask that if you plan on staying longer than the event run time you visit the attendant booth to check in and pay for a pass to continue enjoying the facilities. Thank you!

We are excited to offer a free meal to adults who accompany kids to this special event. However please note that our Summer Eats program, which will run June 27 - August 19, is ONLY FOR KIDS 18 and under. Limit one meal per person for the Kick Off. Thank you for understanding.
The rain date for this event will be the following day, June 23, 4-6pm. Please also save this date as New England weather is always throwing us a curve ball! ⛈
