Enjoy FIVE days of fun to celebrate Greendale's 85th Anniversary!

Kick off the festivities with a fireworks display on Wednesday August 9th at dusk.

Thursday evening features a Music Through The Decades performance at the GEA stage with Big Band Command Performance and hits from the 70s to today Platinum. Hit up the Lions stage for Blue's Addiction and Ivy Ford that evening as well. Enjoy bands of all kinds at both stages all weekend long!

Other attractions include a Family Entertainment Area a GTO Classic Car Show Rummage on the Green Family Fun Day and a 1930s Carnival Midway!

To celebrate the BIG 85 take a step back in time through the Memory Lane Greendale’s history told through community photos on the walkway between Parking Street and Broad Street. On Friday evening and Saturday during the day Greendalers are encouraged to share their own memories in front of the library. Comfy seats and conversation prompts will be provided while Voice of Experience will be there to record these cherished memories. Greendale based company Voice of Experience is a service dedicated to preserving the voices of our elders so that future generations may hear the world through their stories. From Friday through Sunday there will be an interactive art installation for everyone to participate in the Greendale CommUNITY project in front of Village Hall. The CommUNITY project is a larger-than-life public art project that helps us celebrate our uniqueness while strengthening our ties to each other. The celebrations don't stop there! Village days will also feature an interactive mural 1930s inspired games and toys and so much more!
