greenandowens Queer Theory Reading Group

There are no expectations that you have any prior knowledge of queer theory prior to the sessions, we only ask that you do the reading beforehand and come with ideas and things to discuss – we wish to be as open and accessible as possible.

We are interested in thinking about what queer theory can do, and how it can be put to work.

The queer reading group will run for six months with each session’s theme detailed below.

30th March – What is Queer?

27 April – Queer Performativity

18 May – Queer Failure and Futurity

8 June – Queer Bodies

12 October – Queer Joy

9 November – Queer Publishing

Reading will be sent out prior to each session, which will need to read prior to coming to the session.
