About this Event

Jazz artists Nancy Newman and Miles Black have recently collaborated on a new collection of original songs.
The collection explores a wide range of human experiences and emotions, expressed through an equally diverse palette of styles, from intimate ballads and bossa novas to swinging grooves.
Before heading into the recording studio, Nancy and Miles are excited to present this special premiere performance, offering a first glimpse into their musical collaboration.

Vocalist, composer, and recording artist Nancy Newman is celebrated for her lush, expressive vocals and deeply heartfelt interpretations. With a voice that is both richly nuanced and powerfully emotive, Nancy brings each song to life as a personal story, captivating audiences and earning her a reputation as a truly original voice in the jazz world. Nancy's most recent album is Dream (2025). Palace of the Moon is her first collection of original songs, while You Never Know showcases her interpretations of jazz standards.
