Transport & Address:

The minibus will be running as usual for anybody who wishes to get a lift from the Lido car park (The Rye, High Wycombe). The bus will leave at 10am promptly.

Or meet us on site at 10.15am - we will meet at the vehicle entrance to Chairborough Local Nature Reserve - a gate which is situated off of Chairborough Road. W3W: ///sudden.amused.pizza
Free parking is available on Chairborough Road but please park considerately.

Please can we ask everyone to arrive on time to ensure you do not miss the health & safety and task briefing. If you are late and the session has already started, you may not be able to join. Thank you.

You don't need to print off your Eventbrite ticket!

The Task:

We will be carrying out raking, watering, cutting back paths and entrances, along with litter picking as needed. Come and join us in this LNR and get a taste of working with our lovely rangers.

Timings (please note these timings are approximate):

10.00: Minibus departs from Lido, please don’t be late!

10.15: Arrival on site for safety briefing

11.30: Tea & coffee break

13.00: Minibus arrives back at Lido, work finishes, time to go home!

What to Bring:

Please bring your gloves (we will have spares) and dress for the weather and the task.

Long trousers are advisable as there may be ticks and thorny vegetation. We also recommend wearing steel toe capped or sturdy boots rather than trainers.

Wear layers that you can remove if you get hot whilst working. Bring a waterproof as most of our sites have no shelter from the rain. If it's sunny you may need a hat and suncream.

Please bring plenty of fluids. We will bring a tea kit and biscuits.

Please note:

Biscuits are served at all Chiltern Rangers sessions. Please advise if you have an allergy.

Sometimes there is a need for us to use power tools that can be noisy.
