Green Thumb Gives Back™ is Green Thumb Collective's community outreach initiative dedicated to bringing people together through kindness, volunteerism, and meaningful experiences that strengthen our communities.
Each Green Thumb Gives Back™ event supports a different nonprofit organization, school, animal rescue, or community cause. Whether we're collecting pet supplies, school supplies, toys, food, plants, or other requested donations, every event is an opportunity for neighbors to make a positive impact together.
Our mission is simple: to make giving back fun, meaningful, and accessible while creating unforgettable community experiences.
How You Can Make A Difference
We've been listening to your feedback!
One of the most common requests we've received over the years has been for more chances to win during Plant Bingo™. Beginning with our Green Thumb Gives Back™ events, we're excited to introduce a new way to do just that while making an even bigger impact in our community.
🌿 Bring one healthy plant donation to receive admission and your first bingo card.
🌿 Bring additional healthy plants and/or requested donation items for the featured Green Thumb Gives Back™ cause to earn additional bingo cards. (Scroll down for more details.)
🌿 Each qualifying healthy plant or requested donation item earns one additional bingo card, up to a maximum of five (5) bingo cards per participant.
🌿 More bingo cards mean more opportunities to win throughout the event while helping support a local nonprofit, school, animal rescue, or community initiative.
🌿 Enjoy multiple rounds of Plant Bingo™, community activities, and a welcoming atmosphere where everyone belongs.
🌿 Learn about the featured organization and celebrate the difference we can make together.
Every additional healthy plant helps grow our prize tables, while every requested donation directly supports the featured community cause. Together, we're creating an event where everyone wins.
🐾 Supporting Special Pals Animal Shelter
This Plant Bingo™ will help support Special Pals Animal Shelter, a local nonprofit dedicated to rescuing, caring for, and finding loving homes for animals in need.
While your plant donation gets you into the game, you're invited (but never required) to bring an additional shelter donation if you'd like to help. Every item makes a difference!

Important Information
• Admission includes one (1) bingo card with the donation of one healthy plant, unless otherwise stated.
• Each additional qualifying healthy plant and/or requested donation item earns one (1) additional bingo card, up to a maximum of five (5) bingo cards per participant.
• Additional bingo cards must be earned during check-in and cannot be purchased.
• One participant may win only one bingo round at a time, allowing more guests the opportunity to win throughout the event.
• Requested donation items vary by each event. Please review the individual event page for the featured organization's current wishlist.
• Cuttings and seedlings are not accepted as healthy plant donations unless specifically stated for that event.
• Children are welcome to participate with their donations.
• Green Thumb Collective strives to create welcoming, family-friendly experiences that are inclusive of everyone.
• Individual events may have additional guidelines based on the venue or partnering organization.

Info: Guests are invited to check in, get settled, and enjoy some new conversations. This is your chance to mingle with fellow plant lovers. It’s also the perfect time to grab a drink or bite from the venue, explore the setup, and get comfortable before bingo kicks off at 1:00 PM.

Rapid Bingo
Info: After 1:00 PM, get ready for Rapid Bingo—an exciting, fast-paced finale to the event! If there are still plants and prizes left, we’ll pick up the pace to make sure every item finds a new home. Numbers or cards will be called more quickly, rounds will move faster, and the energy will be high as we race toward the final “Bingo!” It’s a thrilling way to close out the event, so stay sharp and keep your cards ready—you won’t want to miss your chance at the last prizes of the day!
