Jeff & Inger will play a set of original music from the brand new album, along with a few select covers- highlighting a brand new rhythm section: Tarik Ragab on Bass & Marshall Bjorling on Drums and the incredible, Asher Fulero from Portland Oregon on Keys. This is a free show on the famous Green Show stage in front of the Elizabethan theatre & the Angus Bowmer Theatre. This is a pre-show for OSF theatre performances which start at 8pm. Jeff Pevar, a revered guitarist and multi-instrumentalist, has decades of experience performing with music legends such as David Crosby & CPR, CSN, Ray Charles, Marc Cohn, Joe Cocker, Rickie Lee Jones, Phil Lesh and many others. His roles as a skilled producer and engineer are showcased in the duo’s latest work, where he not only plays most of the instruments on the album alongside some very special guests, but also crafts original backing tracks for the live concerts, featuring music from soft acoustic duets to a full-blown rock and roll, depending on the venue.
Inger Nova Jorgensen brings her profound lyrical and visual artistry to the partnership. An acclaimed sculptor and painter, Inger infuses a deep artistic sensibility into their music, serving as the primary lyricist and vocalist and creator of many of the melodic seeds, which she brings to Jeff for the collaboration of each song. Her work imbues their songs with emotional depth and narrative complexity that reflects their personal and artistic journey.
The album, "Hear Me Calling," produced by Jeff and Inger, is a vibrant testament to their collaborative spirit, featuring a range of soul-stirring melodies that trace their relationship from its inception to the present.
