It's time for the Green Schools Symposium, a day filled with inspiration, ideas and collaboration! We're back at the Natural History Museum on Tuesday April 21, 2026, starting at 7:30 a.m.
This leadership event for administrators, educators and anyone passionate about creating a greener, more sustainable future for our school community, is organized by the Los Angeles County Office of Education (LACOE) and the Greater Los Angeles Education Foundation (GLAEF), LACOE's philanthropic partner. We extend a warm invitation to you to join us for this exciting and impactful day.
You'll have the chance to attend engaging workshops and interactive sessions led by experts in the field. Discover innovative strategies to implement green practices in your school, learn about the latest advancements in sustainable facilities, and exchange ideas with fellow attendees. This year we'll have a focus on regenerative school design, hear lessons learned from those impacted by the January 2025 fires and examine how increase disaster-related resiliency.
