Green Onions Experience is a Romanian blues-rock band from Cluj-Napoca,
founded in 2019.
In a surprisingly short period of time, they’ve performed at some of the
most important blues
festivals in Romania, such as Cluj Blues Festival, Urban Blues Festival
in Bucharest, Open Air
Blues Festival Brezoi, and even at an international festival, at the
Howth Roots & Blues Festival in
Dublin.
The band tours regularly in Romania, and in 2024 they embarked on their
first European tour,
performing in cities such as Belgrade, Zagreb, Vienna, and Budapest.
They have released one EP, called “DJAH” (2020), and two studio albums:
Their debut album,“Troubled Minds” (2023) and their latest release,
“Watch Your Mouth” (2025),
which has received very positive reviews from both audiences and
critics.
In 2025, they won the European Blues Challenge Romania and will
represent Romania at the European Blues Challenge 2026 in Katowice,
Poland.
