About this Event

Green Industries Best Management Practices (GI-BMP)

  • Exam Prep 8:00am - 3:00pm
  • (lunch is included)
  • Exam Session 3:00pm - 3:30pm

The GI-BMP class helps landscape maintenance professionals meet the requirements of the Manatee County fertilizer ordinance #11-21. The ordinance requires that all fertilizer applicators working for commercial companies, governments, and in-house employees of private companies obtain the Limited Certification for Urban Landscape Commercial Fertilizer. The class is focused on reducing non-point source pollution resulting from landscape maintenance activities.

CEUs (maximum 4):

  • 2 Core
  • 2 Private Applicator
  • 2 Ornamental & Turf
  • 2 Limited Lawn & Ornamental
  • 2 Limited Commercial Landscape Maintenance
  • 2 Commercial Lawn & Ornamental
  • 2 Limited Urban Fertilizer

Registration - Registration is required.

Cancellations - If your class is canceled for any reason you will be notified no less than 24 hours prior to class start. We will provide a full refund for cancellations made by Manatee County Extension. Refunds may take up to 30 days to process.

Refunds - Refunds will be made in the event of a class cancellation or if the registrant requests a refund 24 hours prior to the class time.
