Green Ideas, Real Conversations: North Vancouver Greens Meet-Up

Curious about Green Party policy? Want to help build a stronger, more active Green movement in North Vancouver? Or just interested in thoughtful discussion with people who care about climate, justice, and community? No need to be a party member, this event is for you.

Hosted jointly by the North Vancouver Federal Green party and the North Vancouver BC Green Party, this interactive meeting is all about participation, ideas, and action.

We’ll kick things off by breaking into small groups of 4–6 people for lively, respectful discussions on Green policy. No speeches, no lectures — just real conversations. Whether you’re a policy nerd, a curious newcomer, or somewhere in between, you’ll have space to share ideas, challenge assumptions, and hear different perspectives.

You don’t need to be an expert — just bring your curiosity.

The second (shorter) part of the meeting shifts focus to North Vancouver specifically. We’ll talk about:

• How local Green groups can mobilize more effectively
• Ways to grow membership and participation
• What kinds of activities and campaigns people actually want to be part of

This is also where we’ll highlight volunteer opportunities, from low-commitment ways to help out to deeper involvement for those who want it. Whether you have lots of time or just a little, there’s a role for you.

• New members or Green-curious folks
• Anyone who cares about climate action, social justice, and local democracy
