Skip the shopping frenzy this Black Friday and join us for a day that gives back to the planet! Instead of filling carts, we’ll be filling the earth with new life. Come plant trees alongside fellow volunteers, or purchase a Tree Kit to give as a meaningful, sustainable gift this holiday season. Every tree planted or gifted helps clean our air, provide habitat for wildlife, and create a greener future for our community. This event includes a free Tree planting workshop on how to start your tree in small spaces using grow bags. We also invite you to join us on a guided nature walk through the food forest to learn about native plants and their benefits
What to Bring:
We will provide all tools and gardening gloves. If you have your own gardening gloves, bring them. This event is outdoors, so:
Bring bug spray and sunscreen
Bring refillable water bottles
Wear closed-toed shoes
Wear pants/long sleeves to minimize bug/poison ivy exposure
