Sustainability Festival on a 28-acre organic farm in Galway! Talks, farm walks, cookery demos, food trucks & live music. Sep 12, 2026.
About this Event

Join us to celebrate 20 years of Green Earth Organics at our inaugural Sustainability Festival, taking place on Saturday, September 12th, 2026, from 10am to 5pm, on our 28-acre, 100% certified organic family farm in Corrandulla, Co. Galway.

Since making our first organic vegetable box delivery in May 2006, sustainability has been at the heart of everything we do. To mark this milestone birthday, we're bringing together some of Ireland's most inspiring voices in food, nature and the environment for a very special day on the farm — timed perfectly to coincide with our bountiful autumn harvest.

Talks & Panel Discussions

Our festival marquee will host a series of engaging panel talks packed with practical, actionable sustainable living tips. Confirmed speakers include:

  • Darina Allen – Ballymaloe Cookery School
  • JP McMahon – Chef & Restaurateur
  • Mick Kelly – GIY (Grow It Yourself)
  • Deirdre Duffy – Chief Executive, Friends of the Earth
  • Pat Kane – Sustainability Advocate & Strategist, Founder of Reuzi
  • Lou Robbie – TikTok Star & Cookbook Author
  • Hometree – Nature Restoration Charity
  • Giselle Makinde - 'Blasta Books Author of New Brazilian Cookbook, 'Samba'
  • Jacinta Dalton - Head of Culinary Arts & Service Industries, ATU Galway and a prominent figure in Ireland’s holistic health movement
  • Kenneth Keavey – Founder, Green Earth Organics

Farm Walks & Cookery Demonstrations

Get closer to where your food comes from with an informative farm walk, and watch field-based cookery demonstrations with Tom Hunt — Guardian columnist and author of Cooking For Pleasure, People & Planet.

Food, Music & More

Fuel your day with food from our festival food trucks, The Salt Project and more, serving hyperlocal, plant-focused menus built around seasonal produce harvested right here on the farm. Enjoy tastings from local growers and artisan food producers, live music, and plenty more to discover throughout the day.

Our farm shop will be open on the day too, so you can leave with a car full of the best organic fruits, vegetables and groceries.

Getting Here

The festival takes place at Green Earth Organics Farm, Corrandulla, Co. Galway. Free on-site parking is available on the day.

This is a celebration of where food comes from, why it matters, and how we can all play a part in a more sustainable future. We hope you'll join us.
