About this Event
Green Drinks Kalamazoo is an informal monthly meetup at a local establishment to highlight and discuss anything under the umbrella of sustainability. We host a lively mix of folks from non-governmental organizations (NGO), academia, government, and business. Everyone invites someone else along, so there’s always a different crowd, making Green Drinks an organic, self-organizing network. Come one, come all!
For the Green Drinks event in March, Kalamazoo College senior Lauren Crossman will share the results from a recent study she conducted on sustainable business practices with 22 businesses on the Kalamazoo Mall. During this study she met with business owners, graded each against an eco-report card, celebrated current sustainable practices, and collaboratively developed goals to make business practices more sustainable.
Join us on Tuesday, March 28 for a free panel discussion to learn more about Lauren’s research and hear from project partners on key takeaways and actionable goals they are excited to implement.
The event will take place on the Mezzanine Balcony at the legendary Kalamazoo State Theatre. Popcorn, candy, and refreshments will be available for purchase.
