🌳 Join the City of Westfield's Parks and Recreation Department for Green Day! This FREE, family-friendly event combines the celebration of Earth and Arbor Day obervances. 🌾 The City of Westfield will be giving away free native tree saplings, courtesy of the Indiana Department of Natural Resources. In addition, the Westfield High School’s National Honor Society and Environmental Club will be facilitating a take-home solar oven for cooking marshmallows and a fun UV pony bead bracelet activity.
💚 Green Day activities will include local organizations and vendors sharing tips and techniques that highlight green practices and initiatives, which can be practiced at home and around the community. Topics will include soils, trees, water, recycling techniques, and more.
🚗 Limited parking may be found near and around Grand Junction Plaza. A free shuttle will be provided for transportation to/from the public parking lot located at 327 Park Street.
