Join us during Green Libraries Week to hear members of Net Zero Stratford talking about books they have enjoyed. Come with questions, or just to listen for these community discussions about books, sustainability and climate, using these fascinating texts as a starting point:
- Monday 7th Oct 3.30pm - Braiding sweetgrass : indigenous wisdom, scientific knowledge and the teachings of plants, by Robin Wall Kimmerer.
- Tuesday 8th Oct 10am - The Price is Wrong : Why Capitalism Won't Save the Planet, by Brett Christophers.
- Wednesday 9th Oct 11.30am – The Overstory, by Richard Powers / Finding the Mother Tree: Discovering the Wisdom of the Forest, by Suzanne Simard.
- Thursday 10th Oct 1pm - Fire Weather: On the Front Lines of a Burning World, by John Vaillant / Our Place: Can We Save Britain’s Wildlife Before It Is Too Late?, by Mark Cocker.
