Green Bay Jazz Orchestra | The Tarlton Theatre

The Weidner Downtown and the historic Tarlton Theatre present The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari (1920) as part of UWGB Music's 6:30 Concert Series on the city's biggest original movie screen and accompanied by a newly composed string quartet score by Michelle McQuade Dewhirst and performed by Luis Fernandez, Taylor Giorgio, Michael Hall, and Michael Dewhirst.

Sometimes called the first horror movie, The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari (1920) presents a visually distorted world full of fear and dread as a string of murders is committed. Is a mysterious sleepwalker to blame? Or is he being brainwashed and controlled by the sinister Dr. Caligari?
