Orienteering is the sport of navigating with a map and compass. The object is to find a series of points shown on a map, choosing routes — both on and off trail — that will help you find all the points and get back to the finish in the shortest amount of time. At WTN events, we offer courses for all ages and levels of participants and provide all necessary equipment to get started, as well as beginner instruction by experienced orienteers. We have a wide range of participants, from competitive athletes racing through the woods at top speed to family groups who are interested in exploring the outdoors at a more leisurely pace.
