We’ll be meeting in the Board Room on the 2nd floor of the Brown County Central Library. At the meeting, we’ll welcome any new members. We’ll celebrate recent successes. We’ll plan for upcoming social and outreach events and opportunities. We’ll identify trusted messengers for fall lobbying. We’ll discuss CCL’s Virtual Inclusion Conference and who plans to tune in.
Plus, we'll discuss the September national CCL meeting, which will feature guest speaker Dr. Daniel Swain, a climate scientist focused on the dynamics and impacts of extreme events—including droughts, floods, storms, and wildfires—on a warming planet. This will be a hybrid meeting, so you can attend by Zoom if you prefer. If you are a local CCL member, then you should have received the Zoom meeting details by email. If you did not (or can’t find the email), please message us and we’ll send them to you.
