New for 2026, Greek for Beginners offers the chance to learn a completely new language from scratch. Perfect for anyone who loves visiting Greece or wants to discover more about its rich culture, history and way of life. No previous knowledge required.
This course will help you develop your confidence in Greek through a balanced mix of speaking, listening, reading and writing activities. You'll build practical language skills for use in everyday situations while learning at a pace that suits beginners. Writing activities may sometimes be completed in class and may also be set as homework.
Lessons will focus on helping you communicate with increasing confidence, develop accurate pronunciation, and gain a sound understanding of the language. A variety of engaging activities and resources will provide plenty of opportunities to practise and build your skills in a friendly and supportive environment.
What do I need to bring:
Pen and notebook. The tutor will recommend a chosen course book that you may purchase as a study aid
Further Course Information:
Our language courses begin with Part 1 in the Autumn term (September) and continue across the academic year with Part 2 in Spring and Part 3 in Summer. (subject to sufficient enrolment numbers)
Each term runs for 10 weeks, and learners will need to enrol separately for each part. Enrolment for future terms will open closer to the start dates.

Missed sessions by individual students are non-refundable.
