Greatness Only presents a night dedicated to Stormzy.After a solid run of Greatness Only Specials, it’s high time we shifted the limelight from the American rap scene and illuminated some of the strongest UK artists, starting with Stormzy.
Over the years, the South London heavyweight has gone from strength to strength. Back in 2015, the legendary freestyle Shut Up shifted Stormzy from being well known, to a household name. Ever since, we’ve witnessed countless more examples of his massive artistry.
The releases of Gang Signs & Prayer back in 2017, to Heavy is the Head in 2019, and This Is What I Mean in 2022 are just surface level examples.
Stormzy’s stellar takeover of Glastonbury Main Stage in 2019, donning a Union Jack vest by Banksy, remains an unforgettable moment for many of us – as does his insanely moving performance at the 2018 Brit Awards.
