EVENT DETAILS:
An Educational Interactive Game on Climate Change.
In this speed mentoring Climate Fresk workshop, members are paired with student mentees from Singapore Management University (SMU) to tackle complex climate challenges through a fun, collaborative and interactive discussion.
Using the group’s multi-generational collective intelligence, the workshop helps raise awareness of climate change by addressing challenges as a team and activating the climate consciousness of not only the mentees but also you the mentor.
What does it mean for you?
As a mentor, you have the incredible opportunity to create change by coupling the students’ academic interests with increased knowledge of global environmental problems and helping them become valuable contributors to climate action.
Mentors and mentees leave the workshop having formed a strong bond with each other, and well equipped to implement the climate actions that they’ve identified.
PROGRAMME:
6:30PM: Registration
6:45PM: Welcome by Perng Aw, General Manager of Greater Club
6:50PM: Introduction by Winston Chow, Associate Professor at Singapore Management University (SMU)
7:00PM: Climate Fresk Workshop Begins
Part 1: Reasoning (Duration: 90 mins) Discovering and linking the 42 cards and creating the collage
Part 2: Creativity (Duration 30 minutes) Relaxing, taking ownership of the collage by decorating it
Part 3: Discussion (Duration: 30 minutes) A calm discussion on the participant’s emotions, positions, questions to finally brainstorm over the individual and collective solutions
9:30PM: End of Workshop
ABOUT THE SPEAKERS:
Thibaut Meurgue-Guyard, Expert Facilitator
Impact Entrepreneur - in the making who founded a VC-backed Marketplace to repurpose B2B devices and Consultant in IT Sustainability, Tech for Good and Climate Education.
Thibaut is a Founding member of IxSA (Innovation x Sustainability Alliance), an accelerator that supports Founders & Investors in their quest for impact
Prior to his career shift, Thibaut developed 7 years of experience in AI/ML SaaS Sales, Product development and Tech partnerships across Asia.
Rajul Priyadarshini, Expert Facilitator
Rajul has held a lifelong passion for nature and environment and has been actively engaged in Environmental advocacy in Singapore for the past 5 years. Prior to moving to Singapore, Rajul worked for a decade with Media and FMCG companies in Marketing. She has an MBA from International Management Institute and a Certificate from The Cambridge Institute of Sustainability Leadership in Business Sustainability Management.
As a workshop leader, she has led over 50 Workshops as a Climate Fresk Facilitator and as a Climate Conversations Facilitator and Corporate Lead.
