Greater Atlanta Performing Arts Exhibition

On behalf of the Rockdale County High School Rockettes Dance Program, the RCHS Choral Program the Davis Middle School Dance Program, it’s our sincere pleasure to have the opportunity to offer this exhibition where the skills of our young performers can come alive. Talents that will be showcased include Dance Teams, Step Teams, Cheer and Color guard.. We hope that you are as excited and ready as we are, as we support our children in their activity in a fun, safe, and healthy competitive atmosphere.

Thank you for your interest in our Rockdale County first performing arts competition on Saturday April 22nd, 2023, at Rockdale County High School gymnasium.

There is a $50 non- refundable registration fee.

This fee will allow your team to participate in the event and contribute to the cash prize for their category.

We are asking that all teams check in no later than 11am. This will allow each team to have time to do a floor walk through for spacing and sound check. Each team will be designated an area, however, please note that some teams may have to share depending on how many teams register.

All registration forms and payments will need to be sent back in by March 31th.

Throughout the Greater Atlanta Performing Arts Exhibition, members of each squad will be judged in five categories for each battle and will be scored based on the squad’s:

(1) Technique

(2) Synchronization

(3) Creativity

(4) Memory

(5) Overall Appearance

1. All squads must submit their own music for their performance. Submit by email and have a USB with music the day of.

2. The performance time limit is 8 minutes.

3. All music must be clean versions.

Tickets will be sold in advance $5 Adults & $2 per student until 4/19/23 . In addition we will offer tickets at the door for $10 per ticket for adults and $4 for Students. Children 3 and under will be free; Ages 4 through 6 admission is $4but they must pay at the door for child price. Each team will receive 3 tickets free; it is for the coach, make-up artist, or hairstylist that decision will be up to you. NO PARENTS IN THE ASSIGNED DRESSING AREA WITH TEAMS.
