Great Yarmouth VCSE Group Networking
About this Event
The Great Yarmouth VCSE Group is open to all organisations within, or working in partnership with, the local Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise (VCSE) sector.
These meetings provide an opportunity to build cross-sector understanding and discuss the issues and opportunities facing the VCSE sector and the communities we support. We aim to provide a welcoming space for sharing insights and developing partnership responses aligned with the principles of place-based working.
We invite you to arrive from 10.00 for networking and refreshments.
Here’s what to expect:
The meeting will begin at 10:30 with agenda including–
- An update on national and local responses to the Civil Society Covenant.
- An introduction to the support available through FUSE Network and plans for Social Enterprise Day.
- An update from Empowering Communities partners.
- A review of local and regional networks and their connectivity.
- Discussion on current neighbourhood working, including engagement with key policies and programmes such as Pride in Place.
There will also be time for partners to suggest items for future meetings, and plenty of time for making connections.
