Florida Society of Clinical Oncology (FLASCO) is offering two oncology training programs that provide continuing education (CE) credits: Great Strides Together (May 17, 2024) and Rapid Integrations (May 18, 2024). The mission of the annual Great Strides Together conference is to highlight the collaborative efforts of the oncology provider team by presenting patient-focused standard of care education to ultimately improve cancer treatment outcomes.
Great Strides Together is a multi-facility represented and planned meeting that includes continuing medical education credits designed for oncology physicians, nurses, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, pharmacists, social workers, dietitians, and other healthcare professionals managing cancer patients.
The theme of this conference is about the “team” and how the physician and the support staff work together to provide the best care for the patient.
The Rapid Integration Training Program was created for Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), and is designed and taught by a multi-facility faculty.
Rapid Integration focuses on
new-to-oncology practitioners, integrating major advances in basic sciences and demonstrating how to apply them in routine clinical practice. This approach delivers a more personalized medicine to their patients.
