The Great Southern Bioblitz is back for 2024! ? ???????? The next SFIS Excursion will be held this Sunday, 22 September 2024 in conjunction with the Hornsby and Ku-ring-gai Councils. For this special event, you are encouraged to take as many photos of wildlife as possible and upload them onto the iNaturalist app. You get to be a citizen scientist for a day, and help promote the great biodiversity of Sydney to the world!
Note: The iNaturalist app is free and designed for the public to easily upload photos and notes of wildlife observations into a global database of biodiversity. Biologists and other scientists use it for research into ecology, conservation, environmental monitoring, discovery of new species and more.
