About this Event

Great Southeast Pollinator Census Training Day

Thank you for your interest in the Great Southeast Pollinator Census Training Day! The GSEPC was created by the University of Georgia to help encourage citizen participation in pollinator conservation. This is South Carolina's third year participating in the census. Last year, over 12,000 people from SC, GA, and NC participated in the census, and we're looking forward to even more this year!

Join us on Wednesday, August 7th at 10:30 AM to hear from Clemson Extension agents about the importance of pollinators and how this census will help protect them. You will be guided through the GSEPC process so you can contribute valuable data to conserving these pollinators. Resources included are wildflower seeds and guides on counting and identifying pollinators.

This training is perfect for gardeners, families, and anyone interested in participating in this citizen science project to help conserve pollinators!

Hope to see you there!
