Great Saw Mill River Cleanup 2025: Farragut Avenue, Hastings-on-Hudson

Join us for our 16th Annual Great Saw Mill River Cleanup!

The rain date for this event is May 3rd.

Join us in cleaning up at our Farragut Ave. site, one of Groundwork Hudson Valley's restoration sites complete with new kayak launches, birdhouses, tree plantings, and cross country ski trail.

Directions: This site is located along the South County Trailway off exit 13 of the Saw Mill River Parkway. Meet at the parking lot directly off Saw Mill River Exit 13 and before Saw Mill River Road.

Bus Directions:

1 Bus - Warburton Ave @ Spring St. (10 min walk)

6 Bus - Main St. @ Broadway

Site Activities: Volunteers will be conducting vine cuttings under supervision, and garbage clean up along the shoreline.

Site Instructions: Wear sturdy shoes (no flip-flops), long sleeves and long pants (to protect from ticks and poison ivy), bring gloves if you have them, bug spray, and water. We will supply garbage bags, tools, and a limited amount of gloves.
