United Way of Central West Virginia and West Virginia American Water are bringing back the GREAT RUBBER DUCKY RACE on Saturday, September 3, 2022. The numbered ducks will be tossed from the South Side Bridge to much fanfare! Ducks will swim across the water to the river bank. Top prizes will be awarded, including $3000 for the first duck to make it to shore. All winners will be announced on race day. Proceeds from the event support our United Way of Central WV programs and initiatives supporting education, health, financial security and safety net programs in Kanawha, Putnam, Boone, Braxton, Clay and Logan Counties.
