Join the fun as the GREAT RACE blasts off from Veterans Blvd in Owensboro, Kentucky to start a nine-day rally to Gardiner, Maine. This is a FREE event, with a family-friendly atmosphere, so bring the kids and check out more than 140 classic cars and trucks (1974 and earlier) as they take the green flag. The cars start getting into position at 8:30am and the GREEN FLAG drops at 11am. By 1:30pm, all of the cars will be on the road.
You’ll have easy access to the cars, drivers and navigators. In some cases, this is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to see cars that are more than 100 years old, competing in this long-distance rally. There are also high-end sports cars, muscle cars, classics and hot rods. The Great Race only be in town for a short time, so don’t miss your chance to check out the old cars!
