Join the fun as the GREAT RACE stops at the Old State Capitol on South 6th Street in Springfield, Illinois as part of a nine-day rally from St. Paul, MN to Irmo, SC. This is a FREE event, with a family-friendly atmosphere, so bring the kids and welcome more than 140 classic cars and trucks (1974 and earlier) as they roll into town.
You’ll have easy access to the cars, drivers and navigators. In some cases, this is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to see cars that are more than 100 years old, competing in this long-distance rally. There are also high-end sports cars, muscle cars, classics and hot rods. The Great Race only be in town for a short time, so don’t miss your chance to check out the old cars!
