This is where film and musical artists come together! This night will start with an hour screening of music videos by local filmmakers followed by an hour of acoustic live performances by musical artist that were featured in the music video screening then we will have a mixer to end the night!

You do not have to have a music video screening to perform for the night!

SUBMIT YOUR MUSIC VIDEO RULES: We encourage all music video submissions to be under 10 min long. Any films that exceed up to 10 mins can still be up for consideration as long as they are incredibly great but for a higher chance of showing that night it's best to have it under 10 mins. No music video over 15 minutes. All music videos should feature original songs by the musical artist. No covers. Any film that is clearly offensive and shows no artistic integrity or inappropriate will not be considered.

HOW TO SUBMIT YOUR MUSIC VIDEO: We will fill up our program on whomever submits and confirms first.

Email a downloadable link of your short film to [email protected] in order to be considered. IN THE SUBJECT LINE OF YOUR EMAIL WRITE: LA APRIL GREAT MUSIC VID SUBMISSION + the title of your music video.

In your email please include your contact information and social media handles so we can stay connected and create community. All filmmakers will be notified if their short was accepted into the open mic by APRIL 17TH that way there's enough time and opportunity to invite friends and other filmmakers who will like to watch.

MUSICAL PERFORMANCES: A very minimal acoustic/small set. Very much like an open mic set up.

It is free to submit but to attend admission fee is 20 dollars for everyone, but for every filmmaker screening, every three people you bring you recieve one free entry. Musical artists performing that night will receive a comp for performing. We'll have wine, beer, and concessions for an awesome night!
