Mark your calendars, the best time of the year is here! The Great Global Greyhound Walk is a worldwide event where sighthounds and their owners around the globe take part in a walk on the same day.
This event is hosted by Melbourne based rescue, Gumtree Greys but sighthounds from any program are welcome to attend.
This years theme is 'Flags', and we will be awarding a prize to the best dressed human/hound combo - so get creative and start planning your outfits now!
Our promenading will begin at the corner of Lansdowne and Albert Streets and we'll walk clockwise to finish beside the Conservatory. Those with senior hounds, any poorly paws, or humans with mobility needs, can take the shortcut via the inside path and meet us at the finish to enjoy pats and chats as we wind up.
