The Great Bend Lip Sync Battle is an interactive fundraiser where a variety of local stakeholders come together for a lively evening of music and friendly competition. Twelve teams comprised of staff and leadership from Mason Health (also our 2023-24 live music sponsor!), both local credit unions, Timberland Regional Library, Olympic College, a number of our non-profit partners, and even a team led by one of our county commissioners will all lip-sync against each other while raising funds to support Great Bend’s no-cost early learning classes in English, Spanish, and the Mayan languages of Mam and Q’anjob’al.A five-judge panel including a couple of Mason County’s local music specialists will score, but the audience can tip the scales by purchasing points, “throwing shade” or “zhuzhing” their favored team up!
Held at the beautiful Barn at the Hood Canal Salmon Center, the evening will also feature custom cocktails, local microbrews, and food by an array of local food trucks as well as a number of additional fundraising games, an art and experiences silent auction, table participation prizes and more.
