Meghan Howey will speak about her experience running an archaeological research program focused on the 17th century in the Great Bay, including a set of sites that provide evidence of how Indigenous Peoples and colonial English settlers were coexisting, in part through trade. Meghan is an archaeologist at UNH & Director of the Center for the Humanities.
Wine & cheese will be served from 5:00-5:30. Free to PDAS members; the public is welcome at $10/lecture. Membership: $35/year, dual membership $60/year. Consider joining us!
