Enjoy a night of hilarious improvised storytelling where the melodrama is turned up to 11.
Some movies are good. Others are bad. Many try SO HARD to be good that they end up being terrible. Anyone remember The Goldfinch? No? EXACTLY.
In Gravitas: A Narrative Improv Show , performers will improvise an Oscar-bait movie on stage, with all the overwrought emotion and melodramatic acting you’d expect. Will it be a bombastic historical drama? A musical biopic? A too-cool-for-school arthouse darling? You’ll help our performers decide, and they’ll make up some hilarious improv comedy on the spot for your viewing pleasure.
