Gravel Social Ride - Sunday 22nd March

It's Birmingham Cycle Show weekend and our friend Conor from Zero Carbon Adventures is in town, it only seems right to get together for a ride. We'll be taking in the local 3 peaks, some of our best trails, big views, having coffee with goats and you're invited!

📍Meeting in Barnt Green outside Fika/Cofton on the Green

✨Leaving promptly at 9.30am - 25mile round trip, mixed terrain fun

☕ Cafe Stop - 11miles - Rickyard Cafe

🏁 Finish - Back in Barnt Green for optional post ride social/coffee/pizza/beer

This is a proper nice gravel explorer taking in all the views - Expect all terain - muddy trails, gravel, tarmac, bridleways and shared paths, be prepaired for a few big hills on this one, plus goats, coffee and fun times.

For chunkier tyres and people comfortable riding off road on mixed terrain. Wear what you like, expect lots of chatting, stopping for photos or snacks & lots of smiles.

We will ride at a relaxed party pace, however a good level of fitness will be required. We aim to ride together and will re-group at top of hills or bottom of technical/muddy sections. Nobody gets left behind.

Please wear a helmet - Remember to bring: snacks, drink, spares, tools, warm layers, a waterproof and lights.

This is a self supported social ride which means you must be able to navigate yourself. You are responsible for yourself, the decisions you make and ensuring your bike is in good working order. You are responsible for yourself & your bike but don't worry this is a friendly group, we ride together and if we can will help out if any problems occur.

The meeting point for this ride is just round the corner from Barnt Green train station for those wanting to arrive by train and plenty of parking available at the station or local roads.

✨ These rides are FREE to attend but places are limited. This is to keep it as safe and as enjoyable as possible for everyone, this includes ride participants and other path users. We also don’t want to overwhelm our cafe stops with lots of riders showing up unexpected. PLEASE BOOK to secure your spot.
