Gravel Samwidge have carved out a distinct niche in the Australian rock landscape, always purposefully on the outside of but making the kind of noise that makes the right people pay
attention.
Described as anything from Gutter Rock, Sleaze Rock, Outsider Rock, Punk, Post Punk, Experimental, Progressive and Downer Rock , Samwidge have shared the stage with peers and legends including Lubricated Goat, Venom P Stinger, The Beasts, Adalita, Feedtime , Mudhoney , King Snake Roost , Grong Grong and Chimers !!!
For the first time SAMWIDGE are heading down from Meanjin (Brisbane) for a night at The Cumby !! It's part of a celebration of the Split Release they did with old Adelaide boy Stuart Gray aka Stu Spasm and The Art Gray Noizz Quintet and it's long long overdue !!!
Helping them out on the night will be the demented sounds of TGRX and Kaurna Countries anti-fascist keyboard punk , the awesome HÄGÖL !!!
