Yee-Haw! Registration is Open!
This ain’t your fancy-schmancy gala—it’s a hoedown with heart! The evening blends country-western charm with historic urban elegance, creating an unforgettable celebration in support of newly sober women rebuilding their lives through 12-step recovery.
Think cowboy hats, jeans, and flannels—guests will enjoy gourmet BBQ, mocktails, live country music, line dancing, western-inspired interactive experiences, and powerful storytelling that brings the mission of Gratitude House to life.
The Gratitude Giddyup Gala is the signature fundraiser for Gratitude House, an innovative and elevated sober-living model that is redefining aftercare. The evening will feature a live auction, paddle raise, raffle, and powerful stories of survival and hope.
This year’s Gratitude Giddyup Gala will welcome close to 400 guests to the iconic Casa Loma Ballroom on Saturday, September 19, 2026. The Giddyup sold out last year, and we are excited to move to an even larger venue while keeping our roots firmly in our cowgirl boots. With an anticipated crowd of civic leaders, professionals, and members of the recovery community,
The Giddyup offers sponsors meaningful visibility, community engagement, and opportunity to invest in our operations and expansion—so that we can continue to save and transform more lives.
Following last year’s sold-out event, we are also excited to once again welcome a compelling keynote speaker, Trudy Busch Valentine. She will share her heartbreaking loss to addiction while continuing the tradition of heartfelt inspiration that defines Gratitude House.
A St. Louis native, Busch Valentine is the daughter of August Anheuser “Gussie” Busch Jr., who led Anheuser-Busch’s rise as a global company, and she grew up at the historic Grant's Farm. Today, she and her family continue that legacy on their Missouri ranch, raising bison, cattle, and horses; fitting for the spirit of the Giddyup!
Busch Valentine’s civic involvement and philanthropic work unites three passions in her life: children, nursing, and education. In recognition of her leadership and dedication, Saint Louis University named its School of Nursing in her honor in 2019.
In 2020, Busch Valentine experienced the devastating loss of her son, Matt, to an opioid overdose after 499 days of sobriety. This devastating loss after 499 days of sobriety, motivated her to run for the United States Senate. Trudy believes strongly in ending the shame and stigma of addiction and mental health.
We are grateful for her support for Gratitude House’s unique educational model as the foundation for our elevated approach to aftercare. She understands that recovery is not simply about abstinence, but about learning, developing the emotional and cognitive skills that make long-term sobriety possible.
We are deeply grateful for her willingness to share her story with our community.
We hope you will join us for this powerful evening by purchasing a ticket or becoming a sponsor.
