Of je nu een beginner bent of al wat langer danst, in deze groep ben je welkom ongeacht je niveau. In deze groep leer je de basis van Balfolk: de meestvoorkomende groeps-, rei- en koppeldansen die je op ieder bal tegenkomt. Je krijgt een stevige fundering in houding, muzikaliteit en rollen, zodat je je vanaf je eerste bal comfortabel en zelfverzekerd voelt.
Voor de dansers die al wat verder zijn duiken we daarnaast in minder voorkomende dansen én verdiepen later in de reeks de basis die we eerder hebben gelegd.

Curious if Balfolk is right for you?
Whether you are a beginner or have been dancing for a while, you are welcome in this group regardless of your level. In this group you will learn the basics of Balfolk: the most common group, row, and couple dances you'll encounter at every ball. You'll gain a solid foundation in posture, musicality, and roles, so you'll feel comfortable and confident from your very first ball.
For dancers who are a bit more advanced, we also delve into less common dances and, later in the series, deepen the foundation we laid earlier.
