GRATEFUL DEAD ROCK OF CONSCIOUSNESS
What happens when the transcendent music of the Grateful Dead meets awareness through breath, body, and immersive soundbath with gongs, singing bowls, flutes, drums and more?
The Grateful Dead Mystical Experience is a unique journey into the energy, symbolism, and consciousness-expanding qualities of one of the world’s most influential musical collectives. Through deep listening, guided reflection, and a restorative sound experience, we’ll explore how iconic songs and improvisational journeys such as Ripple, Dark Star, Eyes of the World, Terrapin Station, Uncle John’s Band, The Other One, and Morning Dew express themes of presence, interconnectedness, freedom, mystery, impermanence, transformation, and spiritual awakening.
This immersive event blends music appreciation with mindfulness and invites you to experience the Grateful Dead’s music as a catalyst for connection, exploration, surrender, inspiration, and expanded awareness. We’ll enter the music not simply as listeners, but as participants in a living journey—allowing rhythm, melody, improvisation, silence, and vibration to open space for reflection and discovery.
Perfect for Deadheads, music lovers, seekers, and anyone curious about the deeper dimensions of sound, improvisation, and consciousness.
Created by Kevin Kraft and Pete Kartsounes
All experience levels are welcome. Please bring a yoga mat, light blanket, and eye cover for comfort.
