Fifty years after the Grateful Dead played Boston Music Hall, the music comes home.GRATEFUL DEAD 50TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION 6/11/76-6/11/26 honors the Dead’s legendary June 11, 1976 concert at Boston Music Hall, now the Boch Center Wang Theatre, with a one-night celebration in the Wang Theatre’s Grand Lobby. Presented by the Folk Americana Roots Hall of Fame and in association with Rhino Records, the event also celebrates Rhino Records’ recent 5LP vinyl release of the historic performance.
Deadheads will gather for a night featuring live music from Playing Dead, including a performance of the complete second set from the Dead’s 6/11/76 Boston Music Hall concert. The evening will also include food and drinks, merch, archival history, and more.
Celebrate the night, the music, and the legendary Boston venue where it all happened.
Limited VIP tickets are available for $76, inclusive of fees, and include early entry at 5:00pm, a backstage tour of the historic Wang Theatre, photo opportunities, and a commemorative event lanyard.
